Professional Career
Yaz spent the first seven years of his early professional career working at Village Pizza, located in Corrales, New Mexico, where he started as a dishwasher and worked his way up to the manager position. He was in charge of making the pizzas, running the food assembly line and managing the employees.
Yaz then transitioned to work for Peak Legal Group, LLC, where he was offered a position as a receptionist and billing clerk. He oversaw the client billing and receiving and directing the phone calls accordingly. He then moved to the legal assistant position where he oversaw filing of the legal documents and helped allocate the attorney’s schedule. Yaz worked for the law firm for six months.
He then worked for Sandia Area Federal Credit Union, where he was a teller and helped the members process financial transactions and help educate them on their services, products and financial literacy. All these work locations being located in New Mexico.
Education
Yaz has his bachelor’s degree in business administration and is currently working towards obtaining his master’s degree at the University of New Mexico. His goal is to work towards a position as a Financial Analyst or some type of business analyst.
Leisure
In his free time, Yaz likes to be exposed to new experiences and talk to a lot of new people. He enjoys being extrovert and engaging in activities, communications and things that bring communities together. His hobbies include sports, reading, and continuous growth.
