Randi Lynn Jones

Marketing & Communications Manager

Randi Jones serves as the Marketing and Communications Manager at the Albuquerque Regional Economic Alliance (AREA), where she leads strategic messaging, brand development, and community engagement efforts to elevate the region’s economic story. In her role, she works closely with executive leadership to shape and communicate AREA’s vision, while also fostering strong relationships with investors, partners, and stakeholders across the Greater Albuquerque region. Randi is passionate about using creative storytelling and strategic communications to support sustainable economic growth and regional prosperity.

Randi recently expanded her leadership in the community as the Board Secretary for Friends of the Rail Trail, where she supports organizational governance and advocacy efforts aimed at enhancing connectivity and quality of life throughout Albuquerque.

Originally from Carlsbad, New Mexico, Randi moved to Albuquerque in 2016 to attend the University of New Mexico. Her interest in economic development began early, serving as an Executive Administrative Intern for the Carlsbad Department of Development during high school. This experience sparked her passion for community growth and provided early insight into the impact of strategic development initiatives. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of New Mexico, where she also explored coursework in design and management.

With over a decade of experience in corporate operations, Randi brings a dynamic and versatile skill set spanning marketing, communications, event planning, management, and sales. She thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys wearing many hats, and is always seeking opportunities to grow and innovate.

Outside of her professional work, Randi enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with family and friends. She is an active member of the community and can often be found supporting local businesses and creators at Albuquerque’s farmers markets and Rail Yards Market.
