Albuquerque Regional Economic Alliance (AREA)


​Brad is new to non-profit organizations but not Albuquerque.  He was born and raised in the city and is proud to call Albuquerque his home.  He holds a BBA in Marketing and a dual concentration MBA in Management of Technology and Organizational Behavior/Human Resources.  Both from the University of New Mexico right outside of high school.  Much of his professional background is in B2B sales in the technology industry, working for both large corporations and startup companies. During part of his sales journey, he found himself working in Chicago for a few years and Utah for a short time.  His sales roles taught him the art of managing relationships and effective customer services, as well as the process of generating revenue.  Brad also dabbled in entrepreneurship, starting a stuffed sopapilla food truck company with his two brothers in Milwaukee.  The idea stemming from a family history of tasty recipes with a goal of spreading New Mexican cuisine and awareness across the country.  Unfortunately, the pandemic and other variables cut the dream short.  Which led him back home to The Land of Enchantment.  Turning him into a welcoming victim of the New Mexican boomerang effect. 

Brad’s role at AREA is to organize and manage various major events as well as optimize internal business operations.  He plans to use his accumulated skills to improve AREA and the community it serves.  When he moved away from Albuquerque, he realized the respect and pride he has for this beautiful city.  His hope is that he can spread that spirit to everyone he can.
