Ana Danh
Intern
Ana Danh is the new Economic Development Intern at AREA in partnership with UNM Anderson School of Management. She graduated in the top 8% of her class, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Psychology, and is currently pursuing her MBA at The University of New Mexico.
Beyond her academic pursuits, Ana is deeply committed to community engagement and personal development. She actively participates in student organizations and volunteers her time to initiatives aligned with her values. Some of her achievements include fostering a culture of care and support to fellow students as a Senior Resident Advisor, and developing and implementing an ESL learning curriculum for Vietnamese students in grades 8-12 through her volunteer with the SOS Children’s Village. Ana has excelled in roles requiring team coordination, leadership, and interpersonal communication.
Growing up in Vietnam and New Zealand, Ana witnessed firsthand the impact of economic policies on local communities and the crucial role of sustainable development in long-term prosperity. This experience motivated her to join AREA, where she aims to gain insights and skills to drive positive changes and foster community growth in the Albuquerque metro area, now her home in the Land of Enchantment.
In her leisure time, Ana enjoys traveling, exploring local cuisine, music, experimenting with bio hacks, and finds solace in Pilates and meditation.
