Zach Gruen serves as Executive Vice President at HB Construction and sits on its Board of Directors, where he brings nearly 2 decades of experience in project development, construction management, and organizational leadership. A former Project Manager, Zach now leads HB with an emphasis on local partnerships and long-term sustainability—core principles that define the company’s approach to building.

In his executive role, Zach is a key driver of collaboration with clients, trade contractors, and design partners. He also leads an internal culture of teamwork and continual improvement. 

A committed community advocate, Zach has actively contributed to a variety of local causes and served on several local boards. In 2019, he was named one of Albuquerque Business First’s Top 40 Under 40, honoring both his professional achievements and his community leadership.
