Ryan Swinney

Ryan brings a wealth of experience in real estate leadership, advocacy, and association management. He joins GAAR from Lincoln, Nebraska, where he served as CEO of the Nebraska REALTORS® Association, leading a 5,500-member organization. Prior to that, he was the Association Executive for Western Magic Valley REALTORS® in Twin Falls, Idaho.
With over 20 years in the real estate industry, Ryan has built a strong reputation for fostering member engagement, driving financial growth, and shaping public policy to support real estate professionals. His background also includes real estate brokerage and franchise sales, giving him a well-rounded perspective on the industry.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Biology with a Minor in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado at Boulder, along with advanced training in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. His dedication to lifelong learning and professional development has made him a respected leader within the National Association of REALTORS®.
