Albuquerque Regional Economic Alliance (AREA) and NAI SunVista Execute a Memorandum of Understanding for Regional Partnership

(ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.) – The Albuquerque Regional Economic Alliance (AREA) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with NAI SunVista, a full-service commercial real estate company serving New Mexico since 1996. The company is a dynamic commercial real estate firm offering best-in-class real estate services in brokerage, property management, asset management, business brokerage and development services.

The purpose of the MOU, initiated by AREA, is to clarify the collaborative roles played by each party in attracting firms to the Albuquerque region. AREA will provide support to NAI SunVista including research, data, public relations support, and identifying local incentives. NAI SunVista will leverage AREA’s expertise and resources to increase visibility of the region and increase opportunities for economic growth and investment. Each organization will also look for ways to collaborate on cross-promotional events and marketing campaigns to increase the economic profile of the region.

NAI SunVista manages properties totaling more than 6.6 million square feet in the greater Albuquerque market and specializes in fast, high-quality new construction and tenant improvement projects, and was recognized as the 2019 Office of the Year by NAI Global.

Danielle Casey and her team believe in the potential within and are amazing advocates for success and progress here,” stated Debbie Harms, CEO for NAI SunVista.

“This new approach to regionalism, transparency, and leveraging AREA’s expertise to support all partners in attracting and growing firms is gaining real traction and will increase our ability to win new business investment,” commented Danielle Casey, President & CEO for AREA.

Joining the economic expertise of the Albuquerque Regional Economic Alliance with the real estate and investment expertise of NAI SunVista increases the visibility of the region and provides greater resources for investors exploring opportunities in greater Albuquerque and New Mexico.

Added Danielle Casey, President & CEO of AREA, “We are also encouraged by strong interest in this level of partnership by additional brokerage offices that have also been longtime supporters of AREA and highly engaged in our work; we hope to soon announce additional MOU agreements.”
