FatPipe Named Excellence in Small Business Champion Award Honoree
Awards Program Recognizes Leadership in Economic Development

Albuquerque, NM –Albuquerque Economic Development, Inc. announced the BioScience Center/FatPipe as the Small Business Champion Award recipient for the third annual 505 Awards, which recognize organizations and individuals that are making exceptional contributions to economic growth and prosperity in the Albuquerque metro area, resulting in improvements to the region’s overall economic strength.

The Small Business Champion Award, sponsored by New Mexico Mutual, recognizes a small business (100 employees or less) that is creating an environment focusing on collaboration, innovation and hard work, consistently demonstrating a commitment to its employees, clients and Albuquerque.

“We congratulate FatPipe and extend our gratitude—on behalf of the Albuquerque community—for their commitment to making a positive impact on our local economy,” said Danielle Casey, AED President & CEO. “We know that the past two years have posed significant challenges, and we honor them for their hard work and excellence in leadership and innovation.”

“The entire team at FatPipe NM and The BioScience Center are very grateful for this recognition. We often operate under the radar and people think we just have space for rent. The truth is our entire team act as Connectors and our founder, Stuart Rose, is always happy to mentor upcoming entrepreneurs,” said Lisa J. Adkins, COO of FatPipe NM.

Honorees were selected from nominations that took place in the summer. Nominations were open from any source, and to be considered, nominees were required to accept their nominations and provide follow-up documentation of their work.

FatPipe, along with the remaining 505 Awards honorees, will be recognized at the inaugural celebration from 6–9pm on December 9 at Hotel Albuquerque. The event, sponsored by True Health New Mexico, will combine AED’s annual business meeting, a year in review presentation, a look ahead to the future, and the 505 Awards celebration.
