About Us

Existing Business Development was created in 2002 to fill the needs of the local business community. The program was started by Bob Walton, VP of Business Development. He has over 35 years of manufacturing experience, primary working with Fortune 100 companies. The demand increased and Dennis Houston was added to the Existing Business Development Team. Dennis has an extensive financial background. He was former CFO for General Technology and the Ktech Corporation. The demand for assistance continued to increase in the Albuquerque area. In 2006, the Albuquerque Economic Development Board approved the addition of another employee to work with companies. Jennifer Myers is a Graduate from Anderson’s Business School in Finance. Jennifer assists local companies to obtain training funds through the Job Training Incentive Program. The Existing Business Development Team can most help Economic-Base Businesses in the Albuquerque metro area.
