SUMMARY:September 2025 Town Hall Event
DESCRIPTION:DSC_7153\n \n \n \n \n \n\nJoin AREA’s leadership and economic development partners on September 18th from 8 -10 a.m. for a dynamic and forward-focused Regional Town Hall—an open forum designed to bring together a diverse mix of public and private partners\, community leaders\, and stakeholders from across the greater Albuquerque region. \nThis special event is your opportunity to engage in meaningful conversation around the issues\, opportunities\, and priorities shaping our regional economy. \nAttendees will get a first look at AREA’s new economic prospectus\, offering fresh data and insights to guide future strategy. The session will also feature a presentation from the professional facilitators leading AREA’s upcoming Board of Directors Retreat\, offering a preview of the themes that will influence long-term planning. \n—————————————————————————————————————————————————————- \nWe are pleased to announce facilitators of  our Town Hall:  Alex Pearlstein & Matt DeVeau of Broad Ripple! \nThe Broad Ripple Strategies team has helped more than 60 clients develop 90+ strategies for community and economic development\, talent and workforce sustainability\, and quality of place. From this work\, we know there is no one-size-fits-all solution for positive change. The BRS approach begins with understanding the needs and goals of your community or organization and designing a customized engagement that is right for you. \nBroad Ripple Strategies represents nearly 30 years of experience crafting community and economic development strategies that build consensus\, drive investment\, and get results. After many years at nationally prominent firms\, our principals decided the time was right to start a company that reflects our values and perspectives on what works in community and economic development. \nWe believe that “impactful strategies create broad ripples.” Instead of boilerplate plans overloaded with initiatives that are unlikely to be implemented\, we identify the catalytic projects and programs that lead to big impacts in communities and organizations. Rather than a one-size-fits-all process\, we customize our approach to meet the needs and goals of each client. And we create strategies for action\, not for shelves. \n—————————————————————————————————————————————————————- \n\n  \n\n\nEvent Highlights: \n\n\n\n\nHear from Interim President & CEO Chad Matheson as he provides an in-depth update on the economic health and competitive position of the Greater Albuquerque region and reflects on the key achievements under AREA’s most recent strategic plan. \n\n\n\n\nGuided by professional facilitators with deep experience in economic development and regional strategy\, you’ll participate in interactive conversations and focus groups to help define the next generation of goals for the region’s economic future. \n\n\n\n\nThis is a chance for investors\, public and private partners\, and community leaders to come together and shape a shared vision. One rooted in collaboration\, innovation\, and inclusive growth. \n\n\n\n\n\nState of the Region Address\nCollaboration in Action\nInteractive Input Sessions\n\n\n\n\nEvent schedule ( may be subject to updates as date approcahes): \n\n\n\n8 a.m. Doors Open\, Breakfast and Networking \n\n\n8:35 a.m. Welcome and Opening Remarks \n\n\n8:40 a.m. Economic Prospectus Presentation \n\n\n9 a.m. Facilitator Keynote: High Performing Aligned Regions \n\n\n9:15 a.m. Breakout Discussions \n\n\n9:50 a.m. Final Thoughts and Closing \n\n\n10 a.m. Town Hall Concludes
